Anne Wilkes
Partner, Hall Livesey Brown Tarporley

I first joined Hall Livesey Brown Tarporley in 1996 as an accounts junior where I trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. I became a Partner of the firm in 2012.

Role at Hall Livesey Brown

I look after a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from sole practitioners to limited companies with multi-million pound turnovers.

I have a particular passion for working with new business start-ups. It can be such a stressful time setting up in business which is why I like to work closely with the client to advise on the best company structure as well as the financial aspects of running a successful and profitable business, and to ensure they are fully tax compliant.

I also like to take time to think about clients’ circumstances and suggest ways of improving profitability and reducing tax. This is vital in providing a professional service for today’s businesses, it is not just about preparing a set of accounts and tax computations – clients want sound, practical business advice.

Qualifications and Experience

In 1994, I became a Chartered Certified Accountant before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. I am also an Associate of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
