I first joined Hall Livesey Brown Tarporley in 2005 as an accounts junior where studied for the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification before training as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). I have since qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA).
Having progressed to the position of Accounting & Audit Manager, in 2012 I was given responsibility for a portfolio of agricultural clients which has grown significantly since.
Farming and rural accountancy and tax specialist
I enjoy advising and supporting farming and rural businesses.
Being married into a farming family with three eager sons, I can relate to all the unique challenges faced by our industry. My personal circumstances give clients peace of mind that the advice I give, whether that’s preparing or interpreting financial reports, or tax planning advice on inheritance tax, capital gains tax or personal tax, it is based on my first-hand knowledge of running a business in this sector.
I also look after a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from sole practitioners and partnerships, to limited companies with multi-million pound turnovers.
